Having a web site is less expensive and more cost effective than advertising such as television, radio newspapers and the Yellow Pages. A website allows you to advertise and display all of your personal or organizational information, services, products, and contact numbers, (plus it is easily and quickly updated) in an attractive fashion. A website allows you to reach everybody, everywhere.
None - if you are experienced in designing web pages and can work around some of the problems in the templates the services provide. When you build a page using a template provided by a service, there is no guarantee it will be viewable in all browsers. There may be a limit to the number of pages per site and a substantial charge to make changes in the design. Many clients come to us after creating a website "for free" does not fulfill their needs.
Each site is custom designed. Development time will depend on the complexity of the site and your deadline. Completion of a website may take several days to several weeks depending on what is involved and when all the necessary information is provided.

Yes. The Web is not as formal as print in newspapers, magazines, books, etc. Writing for the Web is concise. Sentences and paragraphs are short. Users tend to scan for information and the use of headlines and boldface type make it easier to find the information they want.
A variety of things - large graphics, lots of small graphics on one page, styling, the page layout itself. Simply put, the size of the file or the page has a lot to do with how quickly it loads. Also, the speed of the user's Internet connection factors into how fast a page loads. Our design strategy is to create web pages which will load quickly on the average user's equipment.
